We’d love to see the photos so why not post them on our Facebook page?

We are very pleased to announce that our own Bwydlyn Butchers were recently awarded the SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) Food accreditation. SALSA is a food-safety standard written by experienced food safety experts to reflect both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of ‘best practice’ of professional food buyers. SALSA certification is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to an auditor that they are able to produce safe and legal food and are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard. So you don’t have to just take our word for it that we adhere to the required regulations, you have the peace of mind that we have been assessed by a third party auditor who has been happy to award the certification to us. A big well done to the Bwydlyn team for their achievement. You can read more about the accreditation here.

A big part of the credit for organising the event goes to Sue Foskett, our MD’s wife, who gets up at the crack of dawn to cook breakfast baps for the morning driver before they leave the depot. As well as the sausage and bacon baps we were treated to freshly made cinnamon sugar doughnuts by our own chef Steven Williams and delicious home baked cakes and the highly sort after Gill’s homemade lemon curd! (you have to be pretty quick to get your hands on a pot!!) Thanks to all involved in organising such a worthwhile event again this year.

Our stock Manager, Daron Roberts, took part in a 180mile charity cycle to Cardiff on the 19th & 20th of September, with all monies raised donated to the Alzheimer Society.Read more
Looking dapper in their sponsored cycle tops, friends and family were there to see them off from Pwllheli for their first 100 mile leg to Builth Wells. Apart from a few punctures and sore muscles along the way, the whole team arrived in Cardiff on Saturday afternoon, just in time for a couple of medicinal beverages that evening no doubt. Well done lads!

We donated one of our refrigerated vans for the week to keep supplies chilled, and as you can see it had a tasty makeover just in time for the event!
The first trucks were spruced up towards the end of last year & we are getting more measured up as we speak! We will soon have a fleet full of vehicles smartened up with mouth watering images!
Keep an eye out for one on the road near you soon.
