As a requirement of this role, candidates will carry out manual handling activities and must be comfortable using handheld picking devices. Previous experience of working in a similar role such as warehouse picking would be advantageous but not essential as on-site training will be provided.

Working within the operations team you will be working night shifts 5 days from 7 on a 22:00-06:30 shift pattern.

£10.69 per hour with up to £500 bonus pro rata (until the 30th September)

The successful applicant for the position of Goods In Operative and Returns will be responsible for checking drivers returns, emptying returning drivers lorries/vans, issuing credits and stock checks. You'll also be booking goods in on the internal computer system.

Working within the goods in team you will be working 5 days a week, 8 hour days and shift times may vary and will include every other Saturday.

Summary of main purpose of the Job

As Class 2 multi drop delivery driver you will be on a rolling rota over 7 days, approximately 05.00 / 07.00am out of our Llanystumdwy depot.

You will be required to follow a schedule of work / customer list and unload your vehicle at various points throughout the day. On average you will have 20 drops per day, and you will be required to unload your vehicle and deliver the products to the customers satisfaction and requirements. Due to this customer facing role, candidates must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to build and maintain relationships with our customers, as this is a key part of the role.

Candidates must possess a Class 2 licence and CPC card and Tachograph card. Due to these legal vehicle licence requirements, we will not and cannot accept applications where these licences are not present / valid.

Working approximately 42.5 hours per week you will be required to work a weekend rota and bank holidays. All new employees are on an initial 6-month probation period. £30,000 per annum plus £2,000 retention bonus (June to October).

Masks, gloves and hand sanitiser are provided, and drivers are required to manage social distancing whilst delivering to customers.
